19 movies that will be screened at the 2018 Korea Indonesia Film Festival


Dilan 1990 Dilan 1990 -  At present, to watching a movie either in the cinema or through the online media is one of the entertainment facilities that was very popular for our public, ranging from children to adults.

And a film will be accepted by the community if provide an interesting idea concept and have a strong message in it.

So, we should to be proud of the films of Indonesia which began to enter the international scale and received awards.

And recently, the Korea Cultural Center Indonesia (KCCI) in collaboration with CGV Cinemas, will organize the 2018 Korea Indonesia Film Festival (KIFF).

A total of 19 films will be screened in four CGV Cinemas in four cities, namely Jakarta, Palembang, Yogyakarta, and Makassar. And the festival lasts for four days from October 18 to 21 2018. The film festival will screen 15 Korean films and 4 Indonesian films, including "Dilan 1990" and "Pengabdi Setan".

Rivki Morais Umagapi, 2018 KIFF festival manager at CGV Grand Indonesia, Central Jakarta, Thursday, October 10 said, “We chose a number of films, then submitted them to KCCI and CGV to ascertain what is the suitable line up and in demand by Indonesian audiences."

11. Dallae Story (Seoul Arts Center)

12. Magic Flute (Seoul Arts Center)

13. Golden Slumber (CJ Entertainment/CBI Pictures)

Dilan 1990 is still listed as Indonesia`s best-selling film in 2018. However, it cannot defeat the Warkop DKI Reborn: Jangkrik Bos Part 1 that broke the record as Indonesia`s best-selling film. The audiences of "Warkop DKI Reborn: Jangkrik Bos Part 1" that reached 6,858,616.
