A man and a woman have been arrested after a baby was found in a city centre

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a call on Sunday 7 April 2019 following reports that a baby had been injured following an incident in Royal Avenue.

And for that condition, a man and a woman have been arrested after that baby was found by men in a city centre. 

According to Belfast Live, a 41-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman have charged with child cruelty.

Then, paramedics were called to the scene and the baby was treated for injuries and he  was later transferred to the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children. 

Circumstances surrounding how the child ended up in the town centre are still unclear. Both the man and woman have been released on bail.
