News24xx.com - The popularity of game PlayerUnknown's Battleground (PUBG) turned out to make some countries anxious. One of them is Nepal, which has blocked the game totally on their country. This ban was ordered by the Nepalese telecommunications agency, Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) because the contents on that game considered to be full of violence and has negative impacts on children.

The Nepalese regulator also ordered all internet service providers, cellular operators and network service providers to block PUBG access. This blocking will be effective on Thursday, April 11th 2019. "We have ordered a ban on PUBG because it makes children and teenagers addicted" said NTA Deputy Director Sandip Adhikari, as quoted by Reuters on Friday, April 12th 2019.

Adhikari said that currently there is no report of bad incidents related to PUBG in Nepal. But he said many parents are anxious because of their children whose attention was diverted from school and their homework due to that game. Nepal may be the first country to ban PUBG at the national level, but before, the city of Rajkot in India is the first one to apply the rule to ban this game.
