Tragic, massacre occurred in Papua New Guinea with total 23 people died, including 2 pregnant women

The first massacre took place in the village of Munima. In this village four men and three women were killed. The next day, it was the turn of Karida village to be the target, and in this village the victims reached 16 residents and 2 of them were pregnant women.

This massacre allegedly occurred because of an inter-tribal war that has been going on for 20 years. Governor of Hela Province, Philip Undialu had expressed his condolences for the incident.

"We have never heard of inter-tribal clashes taking place in this area before," Undialu said.
