Dompet Dhuafa Riau provides health services to residents affected by haze on Friday afternoon (9/20). Free health service activities are carried out at Nurhidayah Mosque 1, Jalan Badak Ujung, Sail Village, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City.
Residents flocked to check their health. Residents who are predominantly elderly and children get checks from doctors and oxygen services. The total end of this activity reached 63 patients.
Ridia Wulandari, as Health Coordinator of Dompet Dhuafa Riau said that most residents complained of shortness of breath, dizziness and coughing, which is an indication of respiratory inspection (ISPA).
"Many residents complained of dizziness, shortness of breath, coughing and even nausea. On average they indicated ISPA. But we have already done treatment and give oxygen," he told Riau24.com.
In addition to health services, the Dompet Dhuafa Riau team also distributed masks to residents as well as educational entertainment to children in the form of fairy tales.
In addition, since the haze occurred around the past two weeks, Dompet Dhuafa Riau has carried out a masking action. This action was carried out at several points in the districts / cities of Riau Province, namely Kuantan Singingi Regency, Indragiri Hulu, Indragiri Hilir, Kampar, Siak, Bengkalis and Pekanbaru City.
The total masks that have been distributed by Dompet Dhuafa Riau to the public are 7,522 masks consisting of 2,354 N95 masks and 5,168 medical masks.
