The US has blacklisted Chinese companies for alleged involvement in violating the rights of Uighurs and other Muslim minorities in the Xinjiang region.
Quoted by the South China Morning Post, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Geng Shuang, Tuesday on 8 October 2019, accused the US of having evil intentions and he asked them to immediately correct their mistakes. Geng stressed the US to stop meddling in Chinese domestic affairs.
The US decision to include 28 Chinese entities on the list was made several days before the holding of a high-level trade dialogue in Washington.
According to US issue researcher from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Lu Xiang, the black list will have a negative impact on relations between the two countries.
